Contractor Gorilla is looking for a rockstar, Website Content Manager. The website content manager will be the lead role in managing, coordinating, creating, editing, proofreading and publishing content on client website projects. Basically once we finish building a new client website it will be handed over to this person to finalize all the content and prepare the site for launch. The right candidate must be web-savvy, comfortable communicating, coordinating and managing content for website projects and experienced with the WordPress platform. This is a fun yet pivotal role, as you will be working directly with our writers, designers, developers and internal teams. You will work on several projects simultaneously, so organization and attention to detail is critical. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, understand website user experience, proactive, a problem solver and detail oriented.

This position is for a website content manager that has web design experience, this is not a web designer or developer role. Copywriters are welcome to apply but this is not a writing position.

Work Performed:

  • Manage and oversee the planning, design, development, testing and launch phases of client website projects
  • Conduct website content management, maintenance and updates – perform daily content updates, and other duties
  • Copyedit and proofread content
  • Image selection, image cropping and image publishing on client websites
  • Organize and prioritize projects, assign daily tasks and manage task workload in order to complete projects within timelines
  • Coordinate and manage writing team to produce content needed for client websites
  • Test website projects and coordinate bug fixes with quality control and development team to ensure properly functioning websites
  • Organize client content and upload content on client websites
  • Create and manage project content, deliverables, timelines and communications
  • No coding, HTML or CSS is required, all content will be managed through WP admin.

This is a full-time position to join a growing startup located in the greater Los Angeles area. Must be located in the USA, remote work will be considered.
