This website has great call to action with multiple ways to schedule an estimate. The site utilizes click-to-call phone numbers and has a floating estimate button to make it easy to contact them.
- Credibility 5.0 Stars
We really like how they instill credibility on this website by showing they've been in business for 20 years. They have thousands of reviews and draw attention to a dedicated customer reviews page from the homepage.
Website Score: 4.2
2. Handyman Connection
- Website Design 5.0 Stars
The design of this website is one of our favorites on the list. All the pictures have employees in branded clothing and it really makes the design standout. We really like the blue and yellow color palette used on this website.

The website uses minimal content which makes it user-friendly. The layout and structure of content flows really well together and tells their story in an easy to digest manner.

The homepage features a simple lead form that you enter your zip code on to find your local handyman. The website has multiple estimate buttons on each page. We would like to see the estimate form shortened. We think 5 steps is too long.
- Credibility 3.0 Stars
The homepage has their customer reviews towards the bottom which should be moved higher up on the page. They have a dedicated reviews page which is great, but the reviews page design could be improved for better readability.
Website Score: 4.0

TruBlue Total House Care is the only total home maintenance company that handles all your home chores and repairs. Their services are custom-tailored to fit customer needs and are backed by a quality guarantee.
- Website Design 4.0 Stars
This website is a great example of how less is more. The website uses a minimal design which creates a strong sense of brand. The design gives you a sense of security and is really pleasing to scan the pages.
- Content 4.0 Stars
The content is written well and the layouts are great. We especially like how this site uses a boxed layout which is not very common in 2024. We do think the headlines could be more appealing to grab your attention.
- Call to Action 2.8 Stars
This website needs to improve the call to action. There is no phone number in the top bar or any other call to action. Aside from a zip code lead form there isn't even a contact page link on this website.
- Credibility 1.0 Stars
This website has no credibility features on any of the pages. Its missing reviews, credentials and awards. It does have a great video that creates a sense of professionalism. We recommend they add reviews and other visuals to create a sense of trust.
Website Score: 3.0
4. EZ Home Repairs LLC
EZ Home Repairs is a local family-owned handyman service. Our mission is to provide white-glove responsiveness and maintain the quality of our work for every project that comes our way.
- Website Design 4.9 Stars
This is a handyman website that Contractor Gorilla designed. So of course we love this design and the bold colors. The design really pulls you in and makes you feel like you are dealing with a professional handyman.
- Content 4.8 Stars
The content on this website is laid out nice with a great balance between visual and text. We would like to see some more text based content on the pages but our client wanted to keep the text to a minimal.
- Call to Action 4.5 Stars
The website has a standout free quote button on the top that really catches the users attention. From the top to the bottom of all the pages there are multiple calls to action to get those leads coming in.
- Credibility 2.7 Stars
The website has no customer reviews and is pretty basic in building trust. This the client does not have any reviews yet. We will be adding more trust elements in a design update once they have reviews.
Website Score: 4.3
5. Hank's Handyman
- Website Design 3.8 Stars
This website design is pretty good but could be improved. The hero slider on the homepage is a bit busy and its hard to read the text. It has a double menu with a visible navigation and a second burger menu near the logo. This can be confusing to people.
- Content 3.7 Stars
This is a great example of how using too many font styles can make things look busy. The content is average and could be written better to be more readable. The headlines are generic and need to be redone to grab attention.
- Call to Action 4.5 Stars
We like the call to action on this website. It's in your face and pretty easy to know how to contact the company. The lead form on the homepage is to big. The click-to-call phone number and estimate button in the header is great.
- Credibility 4.3 Stars
The floating Google reviews badge on the bottom right of all pages gets an A+ in our book. We would like to see the badge a little bigger so people can see they have 670 reviews. The BBB logo in the header is a great idea. The customer reviews slider is on the bottom of the page... We cant say this enough "put your reviews at the top".
Website Score: 4.0
6. House Doctors
- Website Design 2.1 Stars
This website design has potential but currently it just feels lackluster. We do like how all the illustrated icons are in the same style which makes the site feel uniform.
- Content 2.7 Stars
The content is very generic with short titles and nothing to really grab your attention. The pages don't really have much content on them which should be improved.
- Call to Action 2.5 Stars
Its great the website has a free estimate button on the top navigation bar and contact buttons throughout. Like we said about the content its all generic, there is no real strong call to action. This could be because they are a franchise business but that should not matter.
- Credibility 3.3 Stars
They offer a quality guarantee which is presented with a nice graphic icon which links to a dedicated page. The reviews on the homepage are sort of lost and we would recommend improving the placement and design of them.
Website Score: 2.5
7. Mr. Handyman
- Website Design 4.2 Stars
This website has a great top navigation bar. It's one of our favorites on this list. We really like the bold colors and contrast between the dark gray and red. This design has potential but it's missing that professional polish to make it standout.
- Content 3.0 Stars
The content on this website feels like an after thought. It does not flow well with the layout and designs. We would love to see a more cohesive content structure on this website.
- Call to Action 3.9 Stars
This website definitely has lots of calls to action. The click-to-call phone numbers, request service buttons and zip code lead form are all great, but they are on the generic side of things.
- Credibility 2.2 Stars
Customer reviews on this website are too low on the homepage. We feel the design of the reviews slider could be better and why only show 5 reviews if you have so many?
Website Score: 3.3
8. HandyPro®
- Website Design 4.0 Stars
We love the orange and blue colors used on this handyman website. Overall the design is pretty good but does get a little busy in certain parts. We would like to see the top bar cleaned up and redesigned to not feel crowded.
- Content 4.3 Stars
This content has the perfect balance between text and graphics. The content is presented in a visually appealing way. The writing is strong but does lean a bit on the generic side, which could be improved.
- Call to Action 3.9 Stars
'Book Now' in on the top bar is ok but what am I booking and why does it go to a new website? The homepage has a zip code lead form which helps you quickly find a local person. We would like to see a more fluid lead flow with less fields on the lead forms.
- Credibility 3.2 Stars
They have a 25 years in business badge on the top of the homepage but its behind the chat button. We recommend moving to a more visible location. We love the title for their reviews section; "Built on Referrals, Inspired by Trust" This is the opposite of generic and great example of what to do.
Website Score: 3.8
9. GARSC
- Website Design 3.0 Stars
We love the curved styled hero video on the top of the homepage. But once you scroll down the page the design starts to become boring towards the bottom. Using a video on the hero section is great, if you can create one we highly recommend adding one.
- Content 2.9 Stars
The font are a little small in certain sections, we would like to see them updated to be more readable. The writing is average and could be improved by creating better headlines and copy.

- Credibility 2.2 Stars
They do show some reviews but as usual they are on the bottom of the page. The reviews section does not have a title and the fonts are on the small side making them harder to read. Reviews are a strong tool and should be emphasized on your website.
Website Score: 2.5
10. Help Squad
- Website Design 3.8 Stars
This handyman website has a nice color palette but much could be improved. The top of the homepage is pretty boring and has nothing to grab your attention. The design just feels disconnected and sections do not flow together.
- Content 3.1 Stars
The content is not written that well, we found a few spelling and grammar mistakes. It happens! All the headlines and text is generic. We think this content has potential but it needs to be redone to standout.
- Call to Action 3.6 Stars
We love the 'Call Now' button on the homepage hero slider. It's the first thing a user will see. This site has live chat support which is great. We would like to see the chat support pop more so people know it's available.
- Credibility 2.6 Stars
By now you should be able to understand the issues with their credibility? They have a reviews slider on the bottom of the homepage and no other trust building elements on the website.
Website Score: 3.3
11. Mr. Does All
Mr. Does All is a professional Handyman Service that provides full maintenance work for both residential and commercial customers.
- Website Design 2.3 Stars
This website is using a generic template or its an old design. We would be excited to take on a redesign of this website and really give it the power to shine.
- Content 2.7 Stars
This website does not have a services page we think is a mistake. People need to be able to discover what you offer in order for them to to contact your company. The writing and titles on this website need work.
- Call to Action 3.7 Stars
This website does have many call to action placements. We would like to see the call to actions designed better to really pop. This site offers a video walk-through which is great but the form is a little confusing to fill out.
- Credibility 1.3 Stars
Aside form stating they are licensed and insured and having a small award badge eon the bottom there is no trust building on this website.
Website Score: 2.5
12. Ace Handyman Services
- Website Design 3.9 Stars
The ACE black and red colors are forever branded in our minds and we love these colors. The design has potential and starts out strong but as you scroll down the homepage it loses its spark.
- Content 3.1 Stars
The content on this website is written well and we like some of the catchy section tittles. Some sections should be redesigned to create a better balance between the content and design.
- Call to Action 4.1 Stars
Three calls to action in the main navigation is great. You never know if some one wants to call, submit a form or schedule an appointment and they cover them all. We would like to see better call to action on the lower parts of pages and maybe add a lead form.
- Credibility 2.3 Stars
The ACE branding only creates credibility but the website cant solely depend on that. Once again, the customer reviews are on the bottom of the page and the cant is hard to read. You know we recommend changing that, right?
Website Score: 3.6
